i live in the middle of nowhere now, and the sky occupies about 70% of my window's view. it is astonishingly beautiful, right now for instance it's pale blue fading to a very pale orange and streaky with diagonal purple-grey clouds which look taut, as if they're being pulled down with the sun.

in a week and three days i leave for new york.
